Take the
questions.
An unclear answer can stay on the list.
Pick the questions that matter to you. Take them to an in-person, phone or video visit.
Before the visit
Name the problem you want help with
Write it in your own words. Bring the medicine names in any quote you are comparing.
Bring the details you want discussed
Make a list of current medicines, supplements, past reactions and tests. Add pregnancy or pregnancy plans if they are part of your questions.
Leave room for a different answer
Doctor-licensing boards belong to a national group called the Federation of State Medical Boards. In May 2026 guidance, it says a patient’s choice from a website’s medicine list does not by itself justify a prescription.
That guidance also says patients need a way to raise questions after the visit.
This is guidance for medical boards, not a law by itself.

Check the Arizona permission
Under the state rules checked October 3, 2026, a person licensed to give medical care in another state may register with the matching Arizona board for permission to treat patients here by phone or video.
Their licence must have no practice restrictions, and they must meet Arizona’s requirements for past penalties, insurance and other registration details.
This registration gives permission for remote care, not a full Arizona licence; in-person care still needs that licence.
Ask the person treating you for their full name, professional title and the licence or registration they use for your visit. Use the linked list to find the board for a doctor with MD or DO after their name, or for a nurse.
